Calf weaning is a process of cessation of milk or other liquid feed which is equivalent to breast milk to the calf. Weaning can be done suddenly or gradually. Calf at weaning time any cattle may vary. Mother's milk production usually peaks at 2-3 months after birth and then gradually decreased. Until the 6th month lactation milk production will decrease by a third. This is the cause of calf weaned naturally at the age of 6-7 months.
